Sushi in Sun Valley

We had a great time in Sun Valley this past week, enjoy the slide show below. This picture deserves it's very own post- Izzy tried Sushi for the first time (using her chopsticks and all); she was so adventurous to try it out and she actually liked it!

So tonight we had a FHE lesson on the Word of Wisdom, after playing a little game where she had to decide which things were "yum" or "yuck", we had the following conversation:

Me: So what would you tell someone that asked you if you wanted something from the yuck side?

Izzy: (with both hands on her hips) I DON'T WANT ANY! I'm going to have carrots instead!

4th of July Fun

Fun was had by all this 4th of July. Here is Izzy enjoying an awesome firework display, compliments of Aunt Bethany.

Family fun at the Eaglewood fireworks. Thanks to Grandpa Mike for the sweet parking spot, Grandma Pam for the yummy dinner, and Dad for driving and coming with us (because he is the fireworks scrooge). Happy 4th everyone!
