I dare you to tell me this is not the saddest picture EVER. We went camping last weekend with John and Bethany up in the Uintahs and Lucy was not happy that Dad would not let her eat the dirt she wanted to.

Better Late Then Never

Izzy did have a Birthday this month, I just haven't gotten around to documenting it. She had her first friend Birthday party. We did a Tinkerbell theme and it was so much fun! I was so glad that we started planning the party in April because there would not have been a party at all if it hadn't already been planned. When I asked her if she had fun she said, "Mom, didn't you SEE the big smile on my face?"

We also had my family over the Sunday before for a little family party. She came out dressed like Jane Fonda circa 1984, being a child of the eighties, I did not make her change (even for pictures).

After the cake disaster of '06 (I made my first birthday cake as a mom and it went horribly wrong, there were tears and everything) I decided to give the cake making another shot, I think it went pretty well. I need a lot more practice but Izzy thought it was cool and that's what mattered most!
