Our 4th or July weekend started out pretty cute with Izzy riding in the Centerville children's parade on her bike. She thought this was so cool and was such a trooper riding her little bike all that way.
The next day we went to a BBQ at Matt and Debi's house and the kids treated us to this awesome sparkler show. For a girl that was terrified of all things firework related last year she sure put on a great show.
On Saturday we convinced Daddy to take a break from his studying and went on our first family hike since Lucy was born. It was so hot but so nice to get outside. LuLu slept in her front carrier the whole time and Izzy hiked like a champ for most of the way. We saw lots of lizards which Izzy thought was pretty neat.
It was a great weekend and so nice to get in a little family time. Hope all of you guys had lots of fun too!

Your picture of Izzy and the sparklers turned out so good. You can actually tell it's Izzy. Mine look a lot more like abstract art.
