1. My 5th B-day party. It was the party of all parties, the whole neighborhood was invited, I got to wear a rockin' peach dress, and Brock Anderson gave me my first "fancy" necklace.
2. Singing on the weird banister things in our old living room with Rachel in my Star Wars tank top and tights.
3. The many visits to the Bradley Scout Camp with cousins. My favorite is when we got the Dirty Dancing soundtrack tape and sang along to all the songs on the front porch of the "Big Fish" cabin.
4. My 6th grade teacher Ms. Draper, she was awesome. I also had two awesome 6th grade friends that hung out with me even though I was weird!
5. Growing up in the 20th ward. Best. Neighborhood. Ever.
6. Night Games, Fashion Shows, The Price is Right (thanks Hannah), Covered Wagons, etc.
7. Girls camp at Piuta. Good times girls.
8. Shopping for school clothes every year with Mom.
9. Family Christmas's and Thanksgiving's. Thanks for all the great family traditions Mom.
10. My whole 9th grade year of school. I had the most fun with all my crazy friends!
11. Forcing my friends to ditch school with me just about everyday then riding into Salt Lake in Sherman.
12. Working at Cutler's. This was probably the best job I ever had, I worked with so many great girls. I'm not sure any of them realized what an influence they had on me. (p.s. if any of you Cutler girls know where Emily Taggart is these days, I'd love to get a hold of her).
13. Graduating from High School (barely).
14. The first night that Sean held my hand. I knew that he kind of liked me because Matt had told me but it took me by surprise. I don't think we stopped holding hands that whole night!
15. Being Sean's "groupie for 5+ years". I have a lot of good memories of shows and standing around waiting for gear to be loaded. You're a rock star baby.
16. Sunday afternoon naps with Sean while we were dating.
17. Sean proposing to me in the perfect way. A grueling hike followed by a steep climb up the side of the mountain and ending at a beautiful overlook with "Will you marry me Boo?" spelled out in little pebbles.
18. Getting married in the Salt Lake Temple, my way.
19. Road trip to Mexico. Sean and I seriously drove our little Sentra all the way to Mexico. So much fun but looking back it probably was not the safest idea we have ever had.
20. Having a miscarriage. A strange highlight but on of the most important of the last 7 years. I learned early on in my life and marriage to trust in the Lord and trust in his plan for me. I haven't ever forgotten this lesson.
21. Having my sweet little Izzy put into my arms after the most grueling 24 hours of my life.
22. Seeing my awesome husband help me through the most painful 18 hours of my life. I would not have made it without him. Seriously, I think I might have died.
23. Having my perfect little Lucy. Easy labor, easy baby.
24. Living as poor, stressed out, college students the past 7 years. It's just getting to the point where I can look back on those times and smile instead of cringe.
25. Graduating from college. Seriously, I am a college graduate. I did that.
26. Seeing Paris and Rome with my sweetheart.
27. Waking up today to the most beautiful family. They are mine and I am so grateful to have them.
