Tag!

I've been Tagged by Becci!
7 random/weird facts about me
1. I have no right pectoral muscle, I know, it's weird. I was born without it.
2. My 2nd and 3rd toes are partially webbed. (This is making me sound a little too much like a freak, I wonder if I should keep doing this).
3. I am deathly afraid of cougars, the animal variety, not middle aged women on the prowl.
4. I love commercials or cards with little talking puppies saying cute things, they always make me smile.
5. I LOVE music from the 80's,who doesn't?
6. I am addicted to this weird salad that my mom use to make us as kids, it's iceberg lettuce with pears, mayo, and paprika sprinkled on the top. I made it for dinner one night and Sean literally almost puked.
7. I think everyone with an English accent is faking it.
I tag whoever wants to do it!

She did it!

After almost a year of trying, Izzy finally went poop in the potty tonight(if you are not the mother of a toddler you may not think this is that cool). This is seriously one of the best days of my life, I am not exaggerating. Way to go Izzy! If any of you see her make sure to give her a high five and tell her how awesome she is.

So it seems everyone is commenting on the election so I will put my two cents in, it will be brief. I can honestly say I have never once in my life been inspired by the political process, I have not registered or voted in the last two elections, mainly because I just didn't care enough to care, until now. The right man for the job was chosen. I feel oddly inspired and moved by his words and am really hopeful for the future of our country. Peace out.

Halloween Fun

Hope everyone had a great Halloween, we sure did! I thought those of you who know Izzy would get a kick out of the picture of her lining up her candy, I'm not sure where she got her OCD from :)

New Developments

Big changes are happening at the Miller Home. Izzy and Lucy got bunk beds! Lucy of course is not quite ready to move into her bunk but Izzy is loving her new bed with a ladder. She thinks they are so fun and loves her new green sheets (for those of you that don't know, green is very passionately her favorite color). She has had no problems from the switch to a twin from the toddler bed.

Lucy started solids this month and also stopped solids this month. We tried it out for a few weeks and decided her tummy was not ready, she was pretty miserable this last week so we cut everything out and switched to lactose free formula. I think she is also getting her first tooth (ouch!) which was not helping the mood. She was not sleeping at all during the day and then would wake up at 3:00 in the morning; I haven't been up that early since she was 5 weeks old! It was hard stuff.
This cute little development has been the cure all. I'm sure the changes in diet and medication are helping also but they are not nearly as cute. I've kind of had to force the binky on her from birth, she hasn't been a huge fan, and while a thumb sucker is not my first choice, I'm glad she has found a was to comfort herself.
And last but not least....chillin' ain't easy.
