Aaaannnnnddddd I'm back!
I know it's a little bit late but I've just made it back to the blogging world so I'm going to talk about Christmas. We had so much fun this year! It was so magical to have Izzy know what was going on and to have Lucy be able to participate in activities this year. On Christmas Eve we had my family over for our annual "Christmas in Bethlehem Dinner" that my Mom does for us. I think I can speak for everyone when I say that this is one of everyone's favorite holiday traditions. The Pam totally out did herself again.
I am mildly obsessed with Christmas, I love everything about it (including the evil parts like Santa and presents). We had such a fun day, it was such a great morning with our little family. Sean spoiled me rotten and I felt like a princess. I got to spoil him and my girls and I about had a seizure from all of the Christmas excitement.
December started off a pretty difficult month and our family really needed and appreciated the time we got to spend with each other and our families. I felt the Savior's presence in our lives and was reminded of his great plan for us.
Finally, it would not be a blog post if I didn't give a Lucy update. For those of you who have not seen it on Facebook, Lucy tried to give herself a mowhawk, she did a pretty good job.

Found
I think at some point everyone struggles with "who" they are. People often need to trek through Europe to "find" themselves, or break-up with a significant other in order to "figure" themselves out. As I was driving the kids home from school I was reflecting on the lesson that I taught the 11-year old primary girls on Sunday on the Word of Wisdom. I was really trying to convey the importance of keeping their bodies free from anything that would harm them, I wished I could go into more depth on how I know, the wisdom that I have acquired through the years on the subject, but they are 11 and I'm not sure they need to go too far into it. I started thinking about the person I was in the past, then I started to think about the person I am today. I realized that I feel more like myself now then I ever have before. In a sense, I guess I have "found" myself. It dawned on me that I feel comfortable with who I am, and I don't think it is just the absence of teenage angst, I feel like I'm myself, if that makes sense, and I'm really happy with that person that I have found. I probably could still use a trip through Europe though :)

New Rule
This is mostly an announcement for my sisters-New Sister Rule #1, if you are going to have a baby I will be present in the delivery room. I cannot handle the anticipation and lack of updates I am getting. I basically need a play by play to keep me sane. You have been warned.
